Help us build our Victorian programs in 2017!

2016 was a year of great change and hard work for Big Brothers Big Sisters as we rolled out new mentoring programs in different communities with the support of many new staff and volunteers.

The hard work paid off as we realised the positive impact of our programs through our end of year evaluations, a BIG effort and collective impact only made possible through the generous support of our partners and donors. Help us increase this number and support even more young people in 2017!

Volunteering Options

We are currently seeking volunteer mentors and general skilled volunteers in programs across Melbourne and Ballarat. Please see below for programs running in specific locations. By clicking on the corresponding link under ‘Enquire/Learn More’ you can read about specific program needs and complete an online Volunteer Enquiry Form to register your interest in volunteering with current and prospective programs. Please understand that due to funding restrictions we are unable to deliver all of our programs in each catchment area, so please ensure you are clear on which program your enquiry relates to prior to submission.

Unfortunately we are unable to accept enquiries from people outside of our current catchment areas listed below as we lack the resources to manage extensive volunteer waiting lists outside our funded programs. If you live outside the catchment areas specified below, please continue to visit our website to keep up to date on new programs that may launch in your area.
